Overview: The Parveen Babi look-alike Deepshikha is an bollywood actress who started her career with Punjabi films in 1995. Even today she is known more for her Punjabi films especially with those with Gurdass Mann. Despite being essentially a Punjabi actress she made her appearance in many bollywood movies as well. Her father Ashwin Kumar as a director in Bhojpuri, Gujrati and Hindi films, her mother was a heroine in Gujrati films. Though, she belongs to the family where media runs in their blood, but still she never wanted to enter into this glamour world. Her sister wanted to do something big in this industry, so her Nanji took both the sisters to Dev Anand. Deepshikha went just to accompany her sister, but destiny never waits for anybody's call. The girl who never wanted to enter this world got selected by Dev Anand.
Than one film led to another. Not only in films she try her feet in TV serials as well, she was offered Danny's Ajnabee, but she refused and accept the proposal of Raja Bundela's Scandals. According to her she never planned her career. It just happened with time. After Rakesh Roshan's Koyla she was flooded with the movies like Baadshah, Dillagi, Rishtey etc. After number of negative role she screamed for the some positive role and to break the monotony of her career she got 'Kitty Party'. These days she is on with Dukaan along with Rati Agnihotri,the film that dwells on the subject of flesh trade. Apart from the big screen,she has Kraishma-Miracles Of Destiny in her hand. In Karishma she is playing a role of Ayub Khan's mistress in Dubai. After huge period of work and dedication she is now enjoying her marriage and motherhood, she has a baby nearly three years old.
